چکیده

Two interconnected AC microgrids are proposed based on three renewable energy sources (RESs): wind, solar, and biogas. The wind turbine drives a permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG). A solar photovoltaic system (SPVS) with an appropriate inverter was incorporated. biogas genset (BG) consists of engine coupled generator. microgrids, M1 M2, were considered for study in this work. microgrid M2 is connected to diesel (DE) characterized by continuous power supply. distribution loss the comprises line loss. losses modeled as objective function (OF). quality enhancement will be achieved minimizing OF. This research also created unique frequency control method called virtual inertia (VIC), which stabilizes using optimal controller. In paper, following five controllers studied: proportional integral controller (PI), fractional order PI (FOPI), fuzzy (FPI), (FFOPI), VIC FFOPI tuned particle swarm optimization (PSO) minimize main contribution paper comprehensive performance under step load disturbances, changes wind/solar input power, eventually grid following/forming contingencies well resources used structure microgrids.

Integrated Primary Controller Design in AC Microgrids Using Optimal Tracking Control Technique

In this paper, an optimal integrated inner controller is designed for the microgrid primary control level. The main task of the primary control level is to maintain stability and proper power sharing in microgrids. Non-optimal controllers have been generally used to design the inner controller in this level in the majority of researches. On the other hand, accurate and complete models of microg...

Coordinated Control of Doubley Fed Induction Generator Virtual Inertia and Power System Oscillation Damping Using Fuzzy Logic

Doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) based wind turbines with traditional maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control provide no inertia response under system frequency events. Recently, the DFIG wind turbines have been equipped with virtual inertia controller (VIC) for supporting power system frequency stability. However, the conventional VICs with fixed gain have negative effects on inter-ar...

Application of ANN Technique for Interconnected Power System Load Frequency Control (RESEARCH NOTE)

This paper describes an application of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) to Load Frequency Control (LFC) of nonlinear power systems. Power systems, such as other industrial processes, have parametric uncertainties that for controller design had to take the uncertainties in to account. For this reason, in the design of LFC controller the idea of robust control theories are being used. To improve ...

Aalborg Universitet A Virtual Inertia Control Strategy for DC Microgrids Analogized with Virtual Synchronous Machines

In a DC microgrid (DC-MG), the dc bus voltage is vulnerable to power fluctuation derived from the intermittent distributed energy or local loads variation. In this paper, a virtual inertia control strategy for DC-MG through bidirectional grid-connected converters (BGCs) analogized with virtual synchronous machine (VSM) is proposed to enhance the inertia of the DC-MG, and to restrain the dc bus ...
